Allan is a Logistics and Supply Chain Consultant with great experience in strategy and operations management; process re-engineering & inventory control; continuous improvement in both manufacturing and operational environments. Implementation of WMS for SAP & Red Prairie.
Allan has multi – sector experience including retail, rail and printing, encompassing both manufacturing and logistics operations. After several years in 3PL operations with Tibbett & Britten and Unipart, he has since been largely involved in manufacturing operations. These have included senior roles with St Ives printing group and latterly managing Siemens UK logistics functions within their Rail business.
During this period Allan has overseen greenfield site start ups, regional transferal of operations, as well as extensive involvement in business re-engineering. He has several years experience in strategic planning and stock management and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for both Red Prairie and SAP.
