Client: Green Properties

The Project:
To remediate a former industrial site and provide a long term development supply chain and new distribution centre

Green Properties had bought the ‘Electric Park’ site in
Trafford Park, Manchester and were achieving little interest from tenants. They decided to assemble an integrated project team including specialist contractors to clean up the difficult site, design and build the most economic DC to attract operators and respond to enquiries better than competing developers.

Worked as part of the development team to deliver the optimum solution for regenerating the former GEC works.
Successful co-ordination of the design team to provide solutions for remediating the site including deep basements/foundations, asbestos, petrochemical and heavy metal contamination, canals and 4m dia. brick sewer.
