Stephen Rinsler FCILT MCIPS

Stephen has extensive experience in the manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing sectors, covering the entire supply chain from procurement, forecasting, inventory management to warehousing and distribution operations.

His senior management experience includes positions in Unilever
(European procurement and supply chain). He was Services Director for NFC Europe (Exel), with a brief that included procurement, risk and legal. He was Operations Director at Volt Europe, where he introduced web-based processes to provide an innovatory outsourcing service for temporary recruitment. Most recently he has acted as a procurement and supply chain consultant for a High Street retail group.

He has designed, developed, negotiated and implemented large scale purchasing and outsourcing contracts in several industry sectors in the UK and across Europe, and has driven large scale procurement reviews that have generated substantial savings.

Stephen is Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK), the immediate past chair of the CILT Supply Chain Faculty and a visiting Fellow of the Royal Military School of Science.
