Green
Properties had bought the ‘Electric Park’
site in
Trafford Park, Manchester and were achieving little interest
from tenants. They decided to assemble an integrated project
team including specialist contractors to clean up the
difficult site, design and build the most economic DC
to attract operators and respond to enquiries better than
competing developers. |

Activities

Worked as part of the development team to deliver the
optimum solution for regenerating the former GEC works.
Successful co-ordination of the design team to provide
solutions for remediating the site including deep basements/foundations,
asbestos, petrochemical and heavy metal contamination,
canals and 4m dia. brick sewer.
Subsequently developing the optimum specification and
design for the first distribution unit for funds and
operators.
Led the design/cost process, assembled an innovative
supply chain and co-ordinated developers agents and
advisors.
