Outsourcing and third party management...
Too many outsourcing programmes fail. The initial objectives are
unrealised, expectations were unrealistic, service providers did
not resource the operations correctly, initial data was incomplete
or incorrect, the reasons for outsourcing were poorly articulated
and inadequately communicated internally, there was too little preparation.
The reasons are endless. But the result is often the same, namely
a breakdown in operations, a collapse in business and relationships
in disarray.
At Bisham we have experience from both sides, as service providers
and buyers. We have developed a proven methodology that assists
all parties to achieve success. Our Seven Stage Process has helped
many clients to achieve their objectives and long lasting and mutually
beneficial relationships.
Because Bisham Consulting is an independent consulting firm, with
no affiliation to any logistics service providers, equipment manufacturers
or transport operators, you are guaranteed total neutrality in any
solution proposed.
Our consultants are skilled negotiators for major third party contractors
and own account operations with years of experience in the whole
process of managing outsourcing projects. Bisham can help with supplier
selection and evaluation, specification of KPIs, the creation of
tailor made Invitations to Tender, the preparation and negotiation
of contracts. As well as the key requirements of relationship building
and getting people to work together. When required we will also
manage or assist in the implementation.
We will also provide regular audits of new and on-going third-party
logistics contracts... more about our auditing

Bisham can project manage outsourcing contracts from concept to
implementation. We also assist customers and contractors in identifying
the problems and providing practical solutions when relationships
break down. We play an independent role and act as "honest
broker" to help operations recover and develop in a more constructive
manner.
Bisham also works for third party contractors to prepare contract
bids for new and existing business. The tasks involve bid management
and presentation, solution development, recruitment and costing
options as well as profit analysis.
